I get what you are saying but just go over his posts he has said a few times before that Gerrard is the best player in the world his constant s*it is just an obsession of United, but his constant bulls*it just gets very tedious and annoying,Comment

it was steppinwolf that was quick to point out, zidane once said "id like to play 5 -a-side with scholes sometime"
all i was saying is that zidane once said "gerrard is the best in the world"Comment

here you go yasmin, i think this confirms what zidane was saying......
With Paul Scholes and Patrick Vieira both recently retired, it's a reminder of how these two once bossed the middle of the park, but where do they rank in the pantheon of great central midfielders in the Premier League era?
We asked talkSPORT fans to vote for the player they rate as the best centre midfield player in Premier League history and, after thousands of votes, here is the result?
1. Steven Gerrard (36% of the vote)
We say: A colossus of the Premier League, Steven Gerrard was a clear winner in our vote for the best central midfielder since 1992. Critics will say he's never won the Premier League title, but perhaps the most impressive thing about Gerrard is the fact he has attained such a high level without playing in a title-winning team. No one player has carried a team as much as Gerrard has at Liverpool and, although it may be heresy to say it, he would have stacks of title medals if he'd been at Man United in the past decade.
talkSPORT fans say: ?Gerrard is the greatest post 1992. Keane was a good motivator and Scholes passed well, but Gerrard has it all.? Rob Parker
2. ROY KEANE (23%)
We say: If one player embodied the winning spirit of Alex Ferguson on the pitch, it was Roy Keane. His ferocious competitive spirit drove United on for a decade and his ferocious tackling won many a midfield battle. His tunnel confrontation with Arsenal's Patrick Vieira summed up the man: a determination never to be bowed by the opposition. Keane could play a bit, too!
talkSPORT fans say: ?I'm a Liverpool fan and the best midfielder(s) by far are Keane and Scholes. Not only in the Premiership, but the world.? Davy Evans
3. PAUL SCHOLES (22%)
We say: You do not remain at the heart of Alex Ferguson's Man United team for 15 years without being special and that's exactly what Paul Scholes was. The ginger prince could control a game with his astute passing and score crucial goals when needed. In the words of a certain Zinedine Zidane: ?He is the complete midfielder.?
talkSPORT fans say: ?Scholes ? consistent, one of the world's best passers and couldn't half run a game. No-one else gets near him. He's probably one of the greatest ever centre midfielders.? Thomas Jellis
4. PATRICK VIEIRA (9%)
We say: Formed a great partnership with Emmanuel Petit to challenge the dominance of Roy Keane and Paul Scholes at Man United, going through to skipper the unbeaten Arsenal team of 2003/04. A fierce competitor who glided across the park.
talkSPORT fans say: ?Vieira... woah!?
5. Frank Lampard (4%)
We say: The highest scoring central midfielder in the Premier League era, Lampard's worth his weight ? even though he really isn't fat ? in goals.
talkSPORT fans say: ?Already more appearances and goals than even the supposed 'old-timers' of the league like Scholes, but Lamps still has more goals and appearances in him. For those that argue it's not all about goalscoring, Frank doesn't overlook his defensive duties, has countless assists and, I would argue, has changed more games than the others in this list. He is the complete professional.? Chris Biggs
6. CESC FABREGAS (2%)
We say: A Premier League veteran at the age of just 24, Fabregas made his first Premier League appearance in 2004 and was one of the best players in the division while still in his teens. Barcelona don't covet him for nothing.
talkSPORT fans say: ?Fabregas is the best. I'm trying not to be loyal as an Arsenal fan, just honest.? Mark Azza O'Hara
he is the best and most complete central midfielders ever to play the game

oh come on mate, to say he has never been the best in the world is very harsh on him
i admit that until he wins the prem, people will always hold that against him
but the fact he didnt win the award in 2005 was abit of a joke to be honest....he single handidly won the champions league that year.
and he has always played in pretty poor teams, with some rubbish players around him.........especially in 2005!
thats what makes him better than the rest........becuase the others have always had good players around themComment

Or could that make him look better than he is? Look at charlie adams looked world class at Blackpool and he is F*ckin S*it!!oh come on mate, to say he has never been the best in the world is very harsh on him

If you google polls of best PL mids you get all kind of results you just pick the one Gerrard came out on top!! Personal i think he is a class mid but not world class or not the best the prem has ever seen but he would be in my top ten, He has never been the best in the world!!Comment

so you have gone from saying gerrard isnt the best in the world now to saying he isnt even world class......i think your talking purely from a united fans perspective here yasmin.
on the other side of this i will say that giggs, keane and scholes were definitely world class playersComment

Steven Gerrard is a good attacking midfielder....but he is and never was the best. If you compare him to Frank lampard....he would come second.
The reason he looks good is ....as you said sgerrad he plays with sh:-)t players in a sh:-)t team.
Totally agree with Yasmin....Adams looked class....but turned out to be trash...Comment
