Man Utd V Fulham will be played on Monday 26 March another half day i will have to take of work!!
Bit disapointed the game last night was called off as it was going to be Cleverly first game bk!! and it would of put him in line for a place in the team for Saturday Don't no if SAF will risk it now, I have to say its a great time to start getting all your players back. who would of thought it a team on the decline two points off top spot with all them sh*t signnings in the summer still challenging for the league at this late stage of the season.Comment

William Augustine Whelan (born 1 April 1935 in Dublin ? 6 February 1958), also known as Billy Whelan or Liam Whelan, was an Irish footballer and one of the eight Manchester United players who were killed in the Munich air disaster. He was 22 years old when he died.
Whelan was a devout Roman Catholic who came from a large family; his father John had died in 1943, when Whelan was eight years old. He was not a confident flyer and just before the aeroplane took off from Munich, he was heard to say: "Well, if this is the time, then I?m ready."
Whelan began his career with Home Farm before joining Manchester United.
He made 98 first-team appearances between August 1955 and February 1958, scoring 52 goals. He had previously played for Irish club Home Farm, and was capped four times for the Republic of Ireland national team, but unfortunately did not score.
On 8 December 2006 the railway bridge on Faussagh Road/Dowth Avenue junction in Cabra, Dublin 7 close to Dalymount Park was renamed in his honour. The campaign to have the bridge renamed was initiated and organised by members of the Cabra, GAA club, Naomh Fionbarra (gaelic spelling) (St. Finbarr's) and sanctioned by Dublin City Council in early 2006. It is close to St. Attracta Road, the street in which he was born. The unveiling ceremony was performed by Whelan's Manchester United team mate at the time of the aircrash, Sir Bobby Charlton.
On 4 February 2008, the Irish national postal body An Post issued a 55c postage stamp for the 50th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster showing a photo of Liam Whelan.[1]

curling into the post tbh but was a good stopVery pleased De Gea was tested again today and it was a big risk from our manager to allow him in. Our own players crowding problem was less so today and he was overall good. Still lacks in that confidence and nervy with a punch early on but his shot stopping and distribution of the ball really does stand out.
Saved us today although we should be 2 points better off from our team performance.

still want him dropped though and given time to get used to english football one save does not make a keeper
incidentally de gea's best games have been against the better teams in the prem its the lump it up front guys where he struggles he did ok against barca to pre season
lindegaard when fit has to be number one at the minute he has more prescence and looks more comfortable and at ease but as he is injured de gea gets his chance to make amends he will get better but at what cost and how quickly only time will tellComment

nowt like sitting on the fence
in reply to stevie g yes he will play next game injuries say a definate start i hope he comes good as a shot stopper he looks ok he has good agilty and reflexes but he has no confidence in crosses and is very weak at taking control of his area his vunerability makes our defenders look uneasy too
catch 22 really he needs to play to gain confidence but by playing he is vunerable to more errors and it doesnt take too many errors to destroy a keeper im all for him playing but i feel that his time was a bit to early he should have been blooded a little bit slower as understudy to get used to the english game which is much more up and at em than he is used too
big club united a graveyard of keepers he is young with many years ahead he didnt need to be labelled a calamity this early in his career mud sticks ask david james decent keeper but most people think of him as calamity james scott carson was england keeper as was robinson not too long back a bad run can set a keeper back yearsComment
