Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed both Nani and Anderson will be in the squad for the clash with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Phil Jones is also fit again, but Sir Alex says he is more likely to be involved in Wednesday's FA Cup replay against West Ham.

Wayne Rooney could make a return against the Hammers as well having missed the last four games after picking up a knee injury.

"I'm hoping Wayne will start training today actually, in which case he won't be far away," the boss told reporters on Friday. "I don't think it's a big issue but it will help him along. The injury is quite straightforward so if he starts today we should have him available for Wednesday's game.

"Nani's back in training and will be in the squad on Sunday. Phil Jones is back, although I think Wednesday is more likely for him. Anderson has been back training for 10 days so he'll be in the squad on Sunday.

"All in all, we're in a healthy situation. How long it will last I don't know, but it's good to have them back.

"It's a derby game - it's intense, emotional," added the United manager. "Everything you can think of in a derby game will be there on Sunday. We go into the game in reasonable form."

    Nice news

I think on a free Lampard and Cole would both be decent additions to the squad not sure either would happen but expect Lampard to be more likely than Cole

If scholes leaves Lampard makes perfect sense he is past his best but can still do a job and could be utilised well over a season

Cole would bring great competion at left back.

Zaha i admit dont know much about him a prospect a gamble

Fellani if its true he has release clause whats took us so long to notice him he has been great for Everton and not just this season either i really like him tbh and if i could pick one player in the EPL to bolster our team he would be it

our midfields been crying out for the last few year for a new spark and for me he fits the bill

if its us or Chavski we should pull out all the stops

give em nani and rooney back
Frank must have made a deal somewhere for CFC to say there not giving him another deal, I'd take him as long as he doesn't want silly wages, we could use him late on in games, and for the FA cup games, or Prem games against lesser opposition, like this Sunday

Cole, I can't see us wanting him with Buttner or Fabio wanting the same position for the next few years.

Fellani, any club would have him on there team, great player and yes needed at UTD, heard he's already moved homes to Manchester, maybe his next move.
Zaha same as you Red, only know what I've read about him.

Great win for Man Utd. Maybe i was wrong about Totti. Cause i don't think Roma really turned up. But i had both Rooney and Ronaldo in my Uefa fantasy footy so i'm happy!

dont know about that both fabio and buttner both unproven manager doesnt trust either yet in big games but i do think fabio does have a future though not to sure about buttner tho done nothing yet although to be fair hasnt been given a run of games

cole is proven and i think would be a good addition on a free but tbh i cant see it happening lampard on the other hand i seriously do

final swansong at united great on your cv when your retired

been watching some clips of zaha looks strong if lacking finesse more of a barge through them than beating with skills reminds me of victor moses

fellaini got to get fergie he is exactly what we need IMO

by the way leo hope you get better soon m8

We were a class above them in the first half should have buried them,, second half we opened the door abit but as norm they couldn't open it fully.

Webb gave us nothing today, there can be nothing for the dippers to moan about, saying Webb is in favour to us, Johnson was lucky not to get sent off.

Delighted with the win and another 3 points to UTD, today makes LFC 24 points behind us!

                      Great day for UTD.

You mean apart from an offside goal?

                        THE TRUTH
                        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Of course it's not cheating. It's not Suarez is it? Only Suarez would do something like that wouldn't he?

We can talk about this can't we?

you just have to look at all the work de gea did.....one save which ended up in the back of the net on the rebound.

says it all about the game.

                              very comfortable really

If we're being honest here it was not comfortable at all,we are at best an average team these days and you are a club in decline. You were happy to take three points today. You dominated the first half and scored one goal, we were the better team in the second half and i thought a draw would have been a fairer result.

However i wouldn't argue over the result, but a comfortable win i don't think so and i doubt you would get many agreeing with you.
