Yes andy another win but a very poor second half performance, all credit to Southampton for chasing the ball and making us make mistake's.

Hopefully it will be 10 points come Saturday night.

Yes UTD was very lethargic in the second half, SAF said in his interview tonight after the game that Southampton has been the best team to play here this season.

Thought we were going to blow it at one point we were on the ropes a bit second half

I though we were sloppy tbh give the ball away to cheaply again didnt seem as commited as we should have been in some 50/50's seemed to wait for the ball instead of going in

keep giving the ball away in good areas up front too wellbecks the biggest offender he seems to do the hard things and then lose his head or take an extra touch and turn into trouble

he's young tho seems short on confidence some of his other play is excellent and he is always full of running he just lacks composure when it matters but i hope that comes with experience

anyway glad to get the win in the end but i was looking to increase the GD at half time in the end was glad of 3 points i had visions of spurs again last few min

I thought vidic had his best game since back today was throwing himself all over seems to be getting back to his old self and tbh we need him

i dont think we would have got the 3 points today if this was earlier in the season when he was missing

back to seven i will be happier at 10 points clear

What an awful performance....especially second half.

I can't remember the last time we were outplayed like that at OT.

Miserable.....was RVP playing on the wing? Seemed like that.

Never thought I'd be saying this.....but we are Missing jhonny evans

pressures on 5hitty now thought it wasnt going to come tho

Look a bit crap lately defence has tightened up a bit other areas seem to be struggling up front not been as fluent lately wingers are not bringing much into games

carricks forms dipped a little as has cleverleys, persies been a bit quiet too

Plus points tho Rooney seems to be awake at last and the defence looks a bit tighter

Our scouse chums can do us a favour tomorrow as i would like to keep a good distance between us in league especially with CL coming up

I'm happy with that, another two points dropped and we have gone nine points clear, Reina is a liability. Long may that continue 13 games to go and we have Everton next! Remember last year.
We've still got to play in the UCL and FA Cup so its going to take a toll on us. Citeh are focused on the league and we're bound to slip up after UCL matches.

Great result i would have preferred reina to try and at least do his job as it would have been ten points but im not complaining

Everton win is a must we dont want to give them any encouragemnt the bigger we can make this gap the more their heads will drop.

Realistically 10 wins from 13 should be enough although if they won 13 on the bounce it would go down to GD if we lost 3 but the likelihood of that happening is pretty remote

I think if we can muster 5 wins on the bounce in our next games they will struggle to keep up, we must not take foot off the gas

Need to be out of sight by april 6th tbh i think saints away will be tough for them next week

Hopefully win or lose against madrid we can still get the results in the league we are normally poor after CL

Their last 4 games look a lot easier than ours we need it wrapped up ASAP

MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper David de Gea has been sounded for a potential return to his old club Atletico Madrid in the summer.

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has grown tired of de Gea, who has been at fault for some of the soft goals conceded this season by United and question marks are still raised over his ability to collect crosses.

De Gea has been the subject of mounting transfer speculation, with Barcelona reportedly putting him on a shortlist of goalkeepers to replace Victor Valdes.

But a move to his old club Atletico Madrid could be on the cards, as he is poised for the Old Trafford exit in the summer.

Spanish football site fichajes.net claims Atletico are weighing up their options and they are trying to convince current keeper Thibaut Courtois, who is on loan from Chelsea, to sign a permanent deal.

But they also suggest if that fails, that they will make a move for De Gea.

The Spaniard joined United in June 2011 from the La Liga outfit for a fee of ?18.9m.
