Fair play to RM they took advantage of the situation presented to them and got through. Great football played by us tonight in the Champions League, I enjoyed us playing so well, Kept Ron under control, then Nani got the red card, yeah a high kick, not intentional at all, yellow card yes, not a red.

Well least we know we are playing in the Champions League again next year, imagine if we never got enough points to not be in the Champions League one year, never mind 3 or 5 years

League now lads How many points do we have in front of everyone below us

Have to say the ref blew the call. As much as i hate ManU it should of been a yellow card. Would ManU won the game? They were controlling it for sure before the red. I was happy RM won but i don't like the ref deciding the match. I hope he don't ref another. It don't matter cause either team won't make the final of the CL anyway.

the ref deffo killed the game why is it that a game of this size didnt have one of europes premier refs in charge, i am by no means a united fan but i'll always support a british team in europe, well done ref hope your christmas card off platini is worth it, he'll be the only man thinking this was justice

Can see why Utd feel hard done by thought it was a yellow at most. More surprising was Roy Keane on itv adamant that it was a sending off and a modest Mourinho interview..... strange night all round really.

In the epl it would have been a yellow card but in Europe the refs are very strict, that's why he sent him off.

Roy Keane has had a bitter thing about united and fergie since he was shown the door

I somehow dont think he'd of seen it the same if he was playing, and to compare it to some of his red cards is a disgrace

He attacks united every chance he gets, and seems like he thought he should have been treat better and not foced out the door

I dont see it like that at all he was past his best and we were better without him, we moved up two places in league without him and next season won it with carrick as his replacement. Then won it 3 times on belt

We were sliding with him since title win in 2003 he needs to get over the fact he was not good enough anymore

Great player but left bitter and twisted with tears in his eyes, never had anything good to say about club or manager since.

I dont know why more people havent picked up on it tbh

Some players think the club owe them everything when there nearing the end of there stint. roy was good but wont be remembered in the same way as giggs and scholes . just my opinion.....
