                                    Yes if i remember rightly it was because he was told he would be used in the first team, dont think we could guarantee him that so he chose what was best for him and fair play to him tbh

                                        Any London club who came in for him he would of took with the best deal at the time, close to his nan and family Wales. Imho.

                                                    I know SAF said he had tried to get Bale to come to UTD before he went to Spurs, I was saying at the time he wanted to stay close to his family and London was that place to where he could travel home at anytime when not working. He's a bit older now so he might make a move away from Spurs if they don't get into the UCL.

                                                            cnt see him going to Madrid if Moaniho is coming back here. Utd is probably the best place for him even though it pains me to say it and I don't think he's out of your price range, i actually believe you'll sign him if he leaves Spuds
