nobody else just the 2 mentioned and im not sure tbh
From a trophy seamless takeover point of view jose
But i suppose Moyes may be a better long term bet and seen as better by some on the board
due to the fact he is cheaper, less hassle, doesnt spend much and plays young players
I wouldnt go abroad for a Klopp type id want someone with premier league experience, Moyes experience at the top end is my only blot against him, he has not worked on the biggest stages or won anything
But he has done very well at Everton, on limited money and would carry on the traditions of United invest in youth and be loyal
But can he step up
Jose proved he can do it
I think he just edges it, Moyes has it to prove, do they take a chance??
Everything revolves around money, and a drop in league position means less money all round, kit makers sponsors will all want to give less and share price dropsLast edited by thered; 8 May, 2013, 16:41.Comment

Btw i think Jose already has job despite all the talk being moyes
and i think that this has been decided for a while but with Jose reportedley close to joining Chelsea they have had to act now and Ferguson has announced this before the season finished so they can push in
Dont think he is wanted tbh from charltons who prefer traditions but when it comes to delivering Mourinho is more or less guaranteed which is what the money men want
and will probably boost shares more than moyesComment

I hope its Mourino , at least he will be able to attract big players, and demand spending money, i also think he is the only one that can talk Ronaldo to come back to Old trafford .
Other hand Moyes, proved with little spending money he can manage an average team to do well, and who could he attract to Old trafford ? maybe Leighton Baines and/or Felliani .

Sorry to dissapoint you all, but moyes will be unveiled tomorrow, he has met with bill kenwright(everton chair) to tell him he is off. i think he a better option anyways than journey man jose.Smile don?t frown, Look up don?t look down, Believe in yourself, Don?t let yourself go, Just be who you are And let your life flow.Comment

Moyes is the common talk among all journalists and tv and will apparantly be unveiled tomorrow
I half believe it but
Why the decision now? Season not finished and Moyes still at Everton
Mourinho reports all over about close to signing for Chelsea, i cant help feel its linked
IMO It makes no sense to broadcast it now when both managers still have games left, i think there is more too itComment

Confirmed on BBC now.
I think he will do a good job in near impossible circumstances. Cant be easy replacing the greatest manger that Britain has produced! Inheriting a squad that many say is a "poor" by Man Utd standards but good enough to win the league at a canter.
Enjoy your retirement Sir Alex - legend.Comment

Allardyce and Pulis make average teams do wellI hope its Mourino , at least he will be able to attract big players, and demand spending money, i also think he is the only one that can talk Ronaldo to come back to Old trafford .

But to be fair i do rate Moyes and he does deserve a crack at a top job, but i think i would prefer it elsewhere first. But he will develop the young , and he will run the club in a similar vein to Ferguson. He probably is a ready made replacement and cut from similar cloth
But to guarantee trophies almost every year Jose is in the short term at least the man, but he is more of a spender than a nurturer. People say he is a journeyman i think hes not found the right job, i think chelsea he was happy but abramovich meddled which is why he left. I think his next job whether its chelsea or us he will be there for many yearsComment

sure he won't mind leaving the England post
