Moyes problem is that is is used to waiting to see who is left and then trying to find a bargain, but that said he is good at finding that bargain.

He's Manchester United's manager now. The Champions.
        Sir Alex Ferguson in 1988

"This isn't just a job to me." "It's a mission. I am deadly serious about it. Some people would reckon too serious. We will get there, believe me. And when it happens, life will change for Liverpool and everyone else - dramatically."

Manchester United to make ?35m offer for Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas

Manchester United are preparing a ?35m bid to bring Cesc Fabregas back to England, according to Sky sources.

The Barcelona midfielder has repeatedly said he wants to stay at his hometown club despite difficulty winning over some supporters last season.
That was his second year back in Catalonia following his return from Arsenal, who reportedly have first refusal on Fabregas if Barca decide to sell.

United's interest remains firm, despite those possible stumbling blocks, as they search for a creative midfield presence to offset the loss of newly-retired Paul Scholes.
And Sky sources understand that interest will be made official imminently.

Fabregas would become the second former Arsenal captain at Old Trafford, alongside Robin van Persie, if the Premier League champions managed to pull off a deal.

Would be nice however i cant see it at the minute, im getting sick of rumours now

I can just see the end of the transfer window now with Moyes saying we dont need anybody we are champions, Anderson is looking really fit, Carrick was best midfielder in PL last year and Cleverley is going to take the PL by storm this year

Fabregas was missing from team training today according to sky sports news.

Personally i wish Fergie had waited till a week before new season to retire as i dont think Moyes has enough clout to get the big players, i can see all this boil down to a raid on Everton football club as a desperate atemt to get some new players in.

Fabregas is the type of player we need, a playmaker, great runner off the ball, who gets in crucial places and scores goals. We might also get Fellaini if it fails..

i must say that you are usually finished with transfers by now and bedding players in on the pre season tours,as an everton fan I do think moyes will struggle but will get excellent support and although I would hate to see fellaini leave I feel he would soon be a massive addition to your squad,if I had to release him or baines I would show baines the door first

United are away on tour, I'm sure there will be plenty of things going on we don't know about or read in the papers. SAF retires and we don't buy anyone special for UTD, think about it

only an offer, no players involved.
