Whats happened to Rooneys transfer request that sources apparantly close to player been coming for weeks??

Is it because him and his agent will lose money if he hands it in?

        I certainly think so

He obviously wants to go as there has been no attempt to stop the rumours via his twitter account, so whats his hold up??

Dear Man Utd, I feel my time here is finished i would like a transfer

Doesnt take long does it?? The fact that it is taking a long time time shows what is in him and his agents head ,and its not about football its pound notes

Whats happened to rooneys transfer request??? ask fergi he's the one that said rooney put in a transfer request.. as for dear man unt they are as greedy as him holding out for the best deal they can get for him. You want rooney to go,, i accept that so why not sell him for 5mill and see what dividends he and his agent would get. I feel sorry for moyes been left wit fergies problem,, why fergi handed this headache over to moyes i'll never understand,,moyes seems to be a puppet manager and the rest of the board are pulling the strings. Been a united fan and supporter for 40years and when rooneys goes i will still be a united fan and supporter.

You doubting the manager over Rooney??

Fergie told him to go away and think about it, it wasnt written it was verbal

When asked again abbout it on TV fergie said if he comes back and decides he still wants to leave he will have to hand in a written one

Why would we sell a player for 5m just to get rid? Get real

last time he was after more dosh he said we were going nowhere, and we were not competing so he wanted to leave

Now he gets some competition he wants out?? Whats all that about?? Thats what he apparantly wanted

Take the rooney rose tinted glasses off why would Fergie sub rooney ? why would he not play him? Why would he get dropped??

You seriously think the manager would ruin his last champions league campaign by dropping rooney as some kind of vendetta, get real

Fergies greatest strength has been getting rid of the big time charles that started to think they were too big for the club

He simply not been up to scratch and anybody watching United can see that, RVP should have inspired him yet he faded didnt buckle down and fight

He knows his contract has 2 years left, he knows this is his last big one and they should be in talks over renewal. The fact that he is not is simply down to his form and the fact he knows he will get a pay cut not a rise if he stays. An on fire striker can negotiate better deals which is personally why i think he wants out as he wont get it from us but will get it if he moves

He also is reluctant to put in a request because him and his agent will lose millions

You may believe Rooney over Fergie but your basis is just speculation, and i dont believe anything that comes from him or his agents mouth, It may be bullshit on Fergies part but if it was its because he knew it was coming and he called them out before they started holding the club to ransom again

Now he is stuck, and i have no sympathy

Doubting the manager and get real,, look m8 im only quoting wat i seen wat i heard and wat was said,, fergi was interviewed after our last game of the season and was asked why was rooney dropped his answer was the lad asked not to play cos he put in a transfer,, tbh never seen the interview wit fergi telling rooney if he wants to leave to put it in writing.
As for get real and rose tinted glasses i think you should look wat our past players are saying about him BR. RW. RK. DI. and thats a few.

When i said we should sell him for 5mill and see the dividends he and his agent would get,, your the one thats been carving him up and if i was in your's shoes i would be glad to accept 1cent and be shut of him.
I hope he goes and we take a lost like we did wit veronica the bald one.

Who in the right mind is going to slag him off while he's at the club?

Rooney not happy cos he was getting subbed and dropped. Simple nothing else but a dented ego and lack of bargaining power. An inform Rooney would be 1st name on the sheet

He is going downhill, nobody would let him go for nothing he is still very marketable as Englands Marquee player, the time is right to sell if we get a decent offer we have had his best years, but we need a replacement

We have had his best years he is now a bit of a bad apple, Its better he goes and i think he will

Wonder if Liverpool will swap for Suarez????

has anyone here got any hopes for us winning the league this season, we wont be signing the 2 big players we need to strengthen our midfield, i think we will do well to finish 3rd this season after watching all the pre season friendly, we cant even win a testimonial at hope against Seville ffs.

I think we will do ok, Sevilla have already started their season with the Europa and are a little ahead of us anyway

I would like to see some transfer activity though, i think we should go all out for Fellaini and Modric and see if we can get them on board it will give us a some decent strength and depth

Kondogbia of Sevilla i think would be a decent addition too he is only 20 and would be cheap, he is holding but is good on the ball and looks like he could have a good future

We dont need much we are champions, a bit more strength in the middle and some creativity would be nice we have zaha as a new signing and Janujaz is looking good, If we sign nobody else we will still be challenging

i heard the manager comment about how much he is suprised by Anderson, so there you go no signings

Main thing is we get a good start, not the usual Moyes trundle

I've heard Valencia is giving up the number 7 shirt and wearing the number 25 today.

and?????? Bobby Charltons 1st shall we give him a start?????

He should be higher in 9 years he has scored over 20 goals just twice in 9 seasons, in fact rather shockingly in 5 seasons from 9 ( over half) he has scored 12 or less PL goals which is very poor return for a man who takes penalties

and for a team like utd who usually create among the most chances it is not very good

Hernandez has a better Ratio per game and Nistelrooy was much better, Ronaldo was not a striker either and would of surpassed him now if he stayed

His goalscoring is similar level to darren bent, what made Rooney better was his willingness and his all round play, which is decining

Well done Moyes for winning the Community Shield, only been in the job 2 months

A win, clean sheet, couple of goals for RVP, Zaha look decent, Evra played well. Happy days at UTD
