Fergie had total respect and belief Moyes comes from a background of being solid and winning nothing, im not sure the players are playing for him and im not sure they believe in his methods

They were already top dogs what does moyes and round know is what i expect they say if not in public at least between themselves
its all down to their new diets, Moyes has got them robbing bins for their protein e.t.c. I gues he lived in Liverpool too long. Next we will see Rooney e.t.c growing a tash and a perm, and i bet you another thing their will be press photographs in the tabloids soon with UTD players wearing shell suits on their nights out.

To be fair to them they deserve it tbh they been playing very well at times to think suarez wanted out and they kept hold of him

Ironic now that he would have won Arsenal the league if hed have signed and instead he has helped smash their title dreams and helped the scousers to 4th where i think they will finish

apart from if we win 13 on the bounce

2 points dropped again i thought v arsenal.

Moyes is on a good run 49 games in a row not beat a Liverpool, Arsenal, or Chelsea, or us away

              He leaves Everton beat us

Its certainly not been his season

What will we say if he. ........ unlikely I know. ... But wins the champions league😂.

He's only good at stopping other teams from playing when his team have to go out and win, he don't have a clue.

So, we could do well like Chelsea did with dematteo.... Never know. ... clutching at straws and all that. . 👹

The Champions League holders always have automatically been given the chance to defend their title in the following season’s competition.
Leothelion, what you are thinking of could be that from 2015 the Europa League winners will now qualify automatically for the following season's Champions League, but if the Europa League is won by an English club, they will no longer take the qualification place of a team finishing fourth in the Barclays Premier League.

That has crossed me mind a few times if you have nothing left to play for you can make a go of it but we would need a miracle chelsea got better in all competitions after AVB went.

                      we still have moyes

I think if thats the case 4th place is not a CL spot, if i remember rightly they did it with Everton but said it would never happen again

Spurs ended up in the Europa when they finished 4th coz Chelsea won it who finished 5th I think.

Rule changed after LFC won the CL but finished outside of the top 4, the nxt season both Everton who finished 4th and LFC had to qualify but LFC started from round 1

thered , have a read of my post #6459

As it stands at the moment European qualification is as follows ::

                            1. England have 4 CL and 3 Europa League slots (Max any country can get and England have the highest coefficient points)

                            2. England's top 4 automatically qualify for CL unless

2.a. An English team wins the champions league and not in top 4.

2.b. If the CL winner is not in top 4, CL winner automatically qualifies and the 4th place team goes to Europa league. (This rule was introduced after 2005-06 where Liverpool won CL but finished 5th, that year UEFA allowed 5 teams from England but made clear that it will winner + 3 others)

                            3. Next 3 team in PL goes to Europa League unless

3.a. An English team wins the Champions League and did not qualify for UCL

3.b. If A Europa league winner is not qualified for UCL, Europa league winner auotmatically qualifies for Europa

3.c. If FA cup winner is not in top 7 of PL FA Cup winner will go through Europa League

3.d. If FA cup winner is qualified for UCL then FA Cup runner up qualifies for Europa League

3.e If League cup winner is not qualified for UCL then League Cup winner gets the place for Europa League.

Well Moyes finally achieved it after spending ?64 Million and taking supposedly Evertons best player, Moyes has finally got the english champion winning squad actually ahead of his old club on goal difference

I'd like to see that front 6 of Fellaini, Carrick, Januzaj, Mata, Rooney RvP be given a run of games together at some point before the end of the season, it seemed pretty well-balanced. With the way we dominated possession we really should have created a few more chances, but I think that will come if this group of players are given more time together. Happy days Rooney signed the contract.

Personally I'd sooner pay him 300K a week and have him playing for us than against us.
