i'm sure plenty of scousers will make comments about the amount of extra time. 5 minutes seemed a bit much to me.
we only needed the 2 extra minutes in any case, it was game over then.

I'm sure lots of football fans will make the same comment and wonder why it always comes whn your losing a game and never when your winning.

In fairness Villa played well and didn't deserve to lose.

Villa are still a very green team...at 2-2 they should have just killed the game as they had two chances before the goal to just run the ball into the corner. Instead they try to charge forward looking for a winner.

United were getting battered up until James Milners cock-up too!

Yes plenty of fans will make the comment but only out of bitterness because it's Man U.
United scored after 2 minutes of extra time. 2 or 3 minutes is the norm for most matches

3 mins is the norm.. there were also 3 subs.. each sub is worth an extra 30 secs..

old whiskey breath didnt help tapping his watch every 10 secs in the final mins of normal time though.. he gets the extra.. but in this case it didnt matter
