    Terry sacked as England skipper

So he got the boot and rightly so. but giving the captaincy to half man half duck, Ferdinand is a joke. How can you take the captsaincy off an adulterer and give it to a drug addict is beyond me.

Before you say it. No i don't think Gerrard should have got it. he's not vocal enough on the pitch. Maybe leads by example, but IMHO that's not enough.

My vote would have gone to Rooney. He's a fat bluenosed granny shagging Manc but i think he woukd make a good skipper.
Thank ~~~~ i'm not that bothered about England eh

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Yeah it seems like Ferdinand has got it.

So now we have a drugs cheat as a captain....

      You couldn't make it up.

Rooney would be a very good choice he is absolutely top notch and I have no allegiance to any English club.

Not sure the captaincy will make any difference to you in trying to win the world cup (personally cant see it as a team) but good luck anyway guys.

I am probably going to get blasted here but I don't think he should have got the boot. He had it away with the EX-girlfriend of one of his team mates which I am sure is not exactly the done thing but if he was in the private sector he would sue his employer for sacking him from his job. I could fully understand the fuss if he had it away with the wife of one his team mates but this is bit of an over-reaction and I am surprised that Fabio Capello has gone along with the whole business though I do understand the logic of team harmony.

He's got his leg over with a bird...shit happens. Nothing different than any other footballer. In that respect I agree totally, ridiculous to lose the captaincy over that

              BUT

It ain't just over him having a stupid affair. Its all the other stuff as well that he has been doing on the side for money. There are apparently more revelations to come this weekend.
They must have decided that enough is enough.

Pretty stupid if you ask me and what are we left with. The best chance we've had in years of actually winning a major competition and its been blown apart by the dirty little Sun newspaper.
And what are the options now? Do we have a drugs cheat as the captain or a thug who should be in jail?

Looks like the drug cheat wins. England Football Team...laughing stock.

Guy gets his leg-over with a woman vs drug cheat vs should have been jailed thug?

I think I'd stick with John Terry every time.

Didn't he get sacked for cheating on his wife. Commiting Adultry. Is everyone forgetting he is married. Not much of a role model is he ?
I don't think he was sacked because of WHO he was with, moreso because of WHAT he done.

i found that quite amusing m8

dont think rooneys the answer tho either he is quiet too apart from when hes abusing the ref maybe a year or two and he will make a good skipper but i think your skipper should be a centre half or centre midfielder

if terrys out of equation i see ferdinand as the next best thing he has matured a lot over the last few years and is well respected

the only other option would be gerrad or lampard and gerrard is pretty poor in an england shirt lampard is also a bit flakey with neither really producing there club form in an england shirt

think one of the main things of being in a team is you are united and you have faith and trust in one another you need confidence as a team and good morale

john terry has abused the trust and faith of his supposed good friend and team mate whether they were finshed or not is irrelevant how many of you would like your mate banging your ex ( i certainly wouldnt) not many i imagine anyways

some players may not agree with the decision some players might but thats the point its split the camp and its split peoples loyalties in the camp

and thats why i think for the sake of the team capello has done the right thing the england captain should be a role model and set an example on and off the field which is why capello has made an example of terry which will hopefully be remembered and noted by the next genereation of england captains not to take your status for granted

John Terry has done nothing wrong. All coaching manuals state: If the full back leaves a hole, it's the centre back's job to fill it...
