if it was intentional shawcross wouldn't have been in tears when he left the field, imho he genuinely felt bad about it

There is a difference between intentional and culpable. Your car is stationary, I see a gap and think I can nip through, crash into yours, doing a large amount of damage. Now I haven't dont it mailiciously, my intention wasn't to ram you but through my misjudgement your car is ~~~~ed. You wouldn't see that person as responsible? You'd be happy to claim on your insurance? Thought not..................as for Wenger, he can be a pratt sometimes but this isn't the first time something horrific has happended to a player of his, pretty had to swallow, and his comments were straight after the game were understandably he was very emotional. I just think it was sad all round

I hope in the cold light of day he reviews when he said and apologises to the player. It was defo no intentional.

I agree, the guy was just unlucky.

I watched MOTD and they showed you Ramseys ankle at an angle with the studs firmly planted, the tackle from Shawcross was a tough one, but dangerous?? I don't think so

Best of luck to the guy in his recovery

Both these two guys are very good young players and I hope this doesn't hamper both there futures in the game.

Did Wenger see the Gallas challenge against Bolton the other week???

Shawcross never meant that...especially as I've got him in my dream team..

Allow Wenger to talk mate, he does nothing but!

All that "I did not see it" sh**e when it involves his players gets right up my nose. Great manager, but lack of class.

theres not doubting he is a class manager but he really needs to think first about what he says !!!!! making out like there was a consiparacy to harm the arsenal team wtf

He wouldn't be wrong to an extent: if you think managers don't specifically say "it's arsenal, lets get in their faces and rough em up boys" then you're crazy. I think you'll find they get a disproportionate amount of injuries from tackles.....now thats not to say you do anything about it but he has a point. Oh and I've no pro arsenal agenda, personally I think the whole money grabbing soulless premier league can burn in hell, unless that is forest get promoted in which case it's the most exciting league in the world

still he should be made to retract his comments. And theres roughing up and being damn right nasty. And we know that shawcross didnt mean it BUT ignorant wenger did and shouldn't be allowed too.... Speaking your mind is good but saying theres a conspiracy isin't! he has a terrible red and yellow card record!!!
