Who has the oldest football ground in the world?
Btw.. The answer is Hallam FC.

They are the reportedly the 2nd oldest football club in the world & played in the first recorded game - against Sheffield FC (the oldest). Sheffield have since gone on to have several different grounds, but Hallam are still at the same ground.

The oldest club or oldest ground?? In any case no mate.

                          • The oldest club is Sheffield FC (1857).

                          • 2nd oldest Hallam FC (1860).

                          • First recorded game - 1860 (between the 2 teams) - known as the Sheffield Derby (not the Steel City Derby contested by United & Wednesday) & of course the oldest derby in the world.

                          • Oldest ground - Hallam FC's Sandygate in Sheffield. In use since 1860.

                          • Hallam FC were also the first football club to win a organised football tournament.

I think Northwich were founded in the 1870's??
