yeah, first big offer comes in, then the board will rip the arms off the bidder.

    Same applies for Torres

              A couple of points.

              1. gerard and torres will go. the reason is simple. liverpool need the money. Any descent bid will be accepted, trust me.

              2. gerard is without any doubt a good player, but i do believe he may struggle to get regular football at madrid, and will make a quick return ti the U.K.

I'd be gutted but If he goes he goes,no one player is bigger than the club and maybe just maybe we might pick up 2 decent players if the managers allowed to spend what we get for him.
Everyone has a price and it might just be the time to cash in as Gerrards not getting any younger.
On Madrid Mourinho loves Gerrard and he'd play on a regular basis under his management if he does end up there.

if he goes to real madrid, you never know what will happend. This team (the club i've always loved) has become in the last years some thing diferent taht it used to be. Now there is so much pressure for any player, the press is so loud and yellow, that it is a gamble. They have even managed to make Kaka a failure.

First of all, let me tell you about Steven Gerrard. Stevie is one of the best midfielders of all time and he has shown his valor both in club football as well as international level. He has always been there for Liverpool and I hope no one has forgotten what impact he had on the Champions league of 2004-05. Liverpool was down by three goals against AC Milan and the second half header from Gerrard still terrorizes his opponents. Stevie always stood for Liverpool and it would be a shame if he is forced to leave Liverpool just like that!

i would also be gutted if he left but you cant blame him if he did! He stayed when chelsea were virtually all but signed him. And he has been the heart beat of the team for many years. I would wish him well in what ever he decides to do

Well i'm the opposite, i wouldn't wish anyone well deserting a sinking ship. We need the captain to stay and it has to be a decision from his heart. If he leaves it will be like rubbing salt in the wound.

                            THE TRUTH
                            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Rubbing salt into the wound created by the board ! Not by the players? But saying that we will just carry on criticizing even the most loyal wont we!!!
