Why is it when Eng get knocked out they are never just 'Not good enough'. It's the ref's fault, the manger's fault, Beckham's fault, Ronaldo's fault, the ref's fault again.. What is it this time the manager's fault. One of the best managers in the world, but it's got to be his fault.

i think its a fair point we are over rated but ask your self would chelsea swap any of the german squad for lampard or terry would utd swap any for rooney would liverpool swap gerrard for any of them i think not

the difference is they play for lampard at chelsea the midfield is built around him,utd are geared up for rooney now ronaldo's gone the systems they use work for these players

if you throw berbatov in at man utd he is different and requires a different way of playing to rooney which doesnt suit the 4-5-1 we play in big games which is why he struggles not because he's piss poor he just doesnt suit the system

we need to just stop playing players cause of there name and find players who work together, good teams are 90% organised and 10% flair for the superstars to work you need workhorses behind them

Thats what Capello was supposed to do. Yet Heskey on when 4-1 down was laughable almost as laughable as him being in the squad in the first place.

England were poor 3 goals (ok should have been 4) in 4 games 1 win one loss and 2 draws to mediocre teams bar the Germans. Had they went in 2-2 at halftime I still fully expected the germans would have went on and won regardless as there was always space for them to used in that back 4.

On a lighter note. The England team are flying into Glasgow airport later today and expect a heros welcome.
