Hi, I have a wee query. I was squatting quite heavy (220k) and like a tube I missed the rack on my last lift. Anyway the full weight came down making me double over with the full weight on my neck, I managed to throw the weights clear stopping me getting crushed. However, I twisted my back but was able to continue with some light stuff but after finishing I knew I had done some damage and now my back is very stiff and sore. I still have limited movement so I think its only muscular.
What I want to ask is what is best RICE (obviously cant elevate my back) or light resistance. After looking online there seems to be two conflicting schools of thought and having never hurt my back before I'm not sure what is the best (and fastest) procedure to go with. (I am on co-codomol and ibuprofen for the pain)
