dnt knw i was kinda shocked at this decision, ken liverpools been terrible this year but it hink if he had been given money in jan and at end o season they mite have become a force next year. still think dalgliesh is a great appointment for them. interesting ahead of 2mrws game.

I don't think Dlaglish has what it takes to be Liverpool boss. Last time he did really well, but he inherited a team capable of winning the European Cup, made one or 2 good signings, but ultimately let the team age and they dwindled.

Now, having been out of the game for 20 years, having a mediocre team (apart from Torres, Gerrard and Reina) I have my reservations.

note sure how he will cope with the players who only care about money.

IMO he has everything to lose and nothing to gain for this. he doesn't want to be the manager
and what he did with Blackburn was amazing! good luck to him but that was a long time ago, things and players have changed since then

will the next full time manager not just end up like Roy?

Well your wrong there m8, he actually publicly stated he wanted the job when the search was on for Rafa's replacement. He also said he regretted leaving Liverpool when he did and he wanted to come back, he was promised the job but it never materialised.
Kenny is a Jock, his wife is a Jock but they are as scouse as any scouser at heart, his children are scousers born and bred. He has everything to gain ad nothing to lose. Long live the king

              THE TRUTH
              The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Christian Purslow chose Roy Hodgson as Dalglish had too much power, he was working for Gillett and Hicks, they wanted to be in the main seat of power in the club not any manager..

If you want to spout shite about LFC i wouldn't do it in a Liverpool thread.. That's twice in 4 posts you've been undone

oh and as for no-one turning on Fegie.. yep you guessed it wrong again...

You probably didn't follow football when Man Utd fans were hounding Ferguson out of the club with banners and protests..

It was before the Premier League started

Liverpool won't win the league, but once again.. you wont hear anyone in here saying that..

Maybe you should watch some football tomorrow.. it's pretty evident you know fcuk all about it
