Richard Gough former rangers captain made a good point about him in yesterdays hearld
His last word on Diouf? ?The bottom line is that the guy looks as if he?d cause a fight in an empty room.?

Or maybe more bullets in the post to Lennon? Or maybe they were a hoax??? Or more phone calls in the middle of the night? or more threats made against his family? or more Rangers fans claim they saw him being racists to Diouf? or more Rangers fans sign up to the facebook site that wants to "Hang Neil Lennon"?

Former Rangers captain Richard Gough also admitted that Rangers players tried to wind up Paulo Dicanio throughout the whole 90 mins of play against Celtic, because they knew he could/would react. He said he was fair game - like Diouf is. But all of a sudden winding up doesn't seem to be allowed now that Celtic players are doing it to Diouf?

It's when they're in the gun that you really need to worry (that was a joke)

In a perfect world nobody would be intimidated by threats but unfortunately the world is full of people who seem to think different. Personally I don't agree with bullying of any kind.

As the thread is about Diouf, I can only repeat what I've said since the day he signed, he's not fit to pull on a blue Jersey because he's a liability and always will be.

I see Lafferty mentioned above and he's another that should have been booted out long ago for his cheating antics.

I'm only going to comment on my own club as I'm not prepared to fuel any fires.

The events of Wednesday night seemed to have 'kicked off' when Diouf put his shoulder into the Celtic physio when he was running on the pitch to treat Easy. From there the Celtic physio stopped and turned around to Diouf and a breif exchange took place. Then Diouf ran 50 yards to confront the Celtic bench. Lennon went to the touch to confront him also. That's when it all kicked off with the benches and McCoist lost it and went over to the Celtic bench (which seems to have been forgotten in the Scottish media).

At half time I could see that Diouf was having a go again, but when I've watched it back on TV it seems that he's shouting at Brown as they were leaving the pitch. Browns walked up the tunnel and Mjallby stud bewteen him and Diouf - another exchange to place. Then Barkly and Mjallby were having a go!

So Diouf as had a go with the Celtic physio, ran 50 yard to have a go with the Celtic bench, then had a go with Brown and then Mjallby. All up to half time!

What went on between Lennon and McCoist doesn't look good, but would it have happened if it wasn't for the actions of Diouf!???
Just a shame it caused trouble between McCoist and Lennon as he's not worth defending...

Am a fan off the other side mate and being open minded most football fans say the same Diouf does look like he is there to cause trouble, its a shame as i see it both clubs are starting to turn biggotry around, we know its hard to police the sectarian side of all football not just our two good teams, but i belive religion should not be brought into football. The big problem is what our children sees in the home and on the pitch. For profesional people to behave like that is no role product for the future, the past is the past,we all have been guilty of something or other, but lets get people to support the teams and not fuel the past,If he was to put his mind to doing what he is paid for then we might just see a decent player once again that could get the press talking about our game for all the right reasons not the bad ones, Anyway if he dosnt make it at football iam putting his name forward for the remake of the LAST OF THE MOCHECANS he would fit into that role LOL

every footballer has there moment and regret it i don't think its fair to blame certain footballers for a loss of control ,if there is no physically abuse to anyone how many footballers have spit on players and fans, Diouf has been badly treated from he put on a rangers shirt its a sad world out there now as its got to do with what religion you support catholic/protestant that's what people opinion is on and even this topic ,,what about cantona he tried to karate kick fans but he is a legend..i think we all need to have a good look at ourselves and realise its only football and after 90 min get back to real life instead of keeping all the crap going for days on end..that's my opinion and don't mean to upset anyone as we are all entitled to our own opinion

yes, but diof has took it to a new level.

i think its more of the leg breaking incident than the spitting incident he is remembered for.

after all he broke a fellow proffesionals leg and verbully abused him while he was writhing about in agony.

while the spitting incident is disgusting, this is just downright nasty....

he has a reputation for being a nasty piece work, i fear this will be difficult for him to shake off...

                          don't get me wrong,
i don't think he has done too much wrong since joining rangers.
but a bad reputation seems to stick,
as as the saying goes, he has made his bed.......
