Rob Jones was a better player than Neville,no doubt about that. He was unlucky with injuries or would have been first choice England right back.IIRC Jones was finishing his Liverpool career around the time ratboy was starting his.

i know when you saying mate. but its all ifs and buts. and thats the nature of the game some players have better luck than others with injuries etc. nev was bad with injuries to was only two caps off sansom to be all time england capped full back.and im sure would have been pushing the two great bobbie's in the caps league.

best right-back in Europe in his prime. Average players don't win 8 Premier Leagues titles. Look at Liverpool if you want a team of average players.



to be fair we all know his time was up a season and a half ago. It was obvious he wasn't up to speed last season and he should have gone in the summer. I think the only reason he retired now is cos Fergie told him he wasn't in the 25-man squad
