because time is something man has set to record events and has nothing to do with the everyday happening of the greater universe which is ever expanding and has no factors set on it.
No I don't think time travel is possible because time is something man has set to record events and has nothing to do with the everyday happening of the greater universe which is ever expanding and has no factors set on it.
With my luck, I'd nip into the future, get the lottery results, nip back and get them put on. Then on the day of the draw, 4 million people all pick the same numbers so share the top prize. ?2 each.
Somebody Tweeted the "best" you could ever do would be 30 seconds, then there's a LOT of criteria, no eating, drinking, smoking, age weight but the most crucial factor is NO looking at INFERIOR websites
I retract my last statement. I was under the impression this was a new thread starting on this page. Posted and then after subscribing was forwarded to page 1 doh!
After reading the thread, along with articles etc I believe that time travel to the future has some possibility but to the past no.
I'm still waiting to find a credible answer to my questions which is "If the universe is the biggest thing ever and it's expanding then it must be expanding into something, which means it isn't the biggest thing surely?" People always come up with the balloon example, but that doesn't hold water, since when balloons expand they're still expanding into something. I think it's just a crap answer with no thought put into it at all. For something to expand it means it's getting bigger, but that still means that it has to have room inside something else to get bigger into..... Perhaps they should go with the truth - "The universe is the second biggest thing ever, but we don't know what the biggest thing is, but the universe is expanding into it"
Can't think you'd see anything because the light reflecting off the objects behind you wouldn't be reflect back to your eyes. So I'd guess the opposite of light which isn't really dark, but the absence of light.
That does make perfect sense , thanks for the answer, off now to think up the next silly question

I was waiting to for that , tried to avoid it by using "arriving" but seriously what would one see if you looked back travelling faster than the speed of light?
