Let me explain why this is fake:
first of all, the shadow of the object is very unreal, but second and most important is that when***65279; the object goes down the crater, there is no interaction with the nearby environment.
When the object goes down the crater at such a speed, the smoke should have been moving first a little outward and then it should have been sucked inward.
We see nothing of that here...

not really "definitive" evidence is it? (though i do agree its a fake, on current evidence.)

if this was a controlled (manned/rc) craft, and was the size suggested.
it would need some mechanism to control, or eliminate, inertia.

so there would be no splash, only the displacement caused by the crafts size.
and as with the "perfect" high board dive, the lava/water displaced would be drawn in and down with the craft.

the shadow thing i cant comment on.
as the copy we have, is just not good enough to be "definitive" on the answer.
