Will world will end in 2012 ?

Earth's North & South Pole are switching position.The mian's calender predicted end of world in 2012 21st December,etc. Would there be so much coincidence?

The Mayan calendar predicts the End of the Present Period and suggests a new or complete change to the present way of life.
It does not predict the end of the world.
