yes i know hime very well i am familiar with his books and his dvds i have watched most of them i also remember him being a goalkeeper and a tv presenter for a short time

i tell you why i have a m8 who has been to see him in brixton and buys his crackpot books and then tries to palm it all off on me

i watch and read for my own amusement on how people are so easily manipulated by the 5hite he spouts and then they actually think they are clever because they believe something he told them

David Icke can only manipulate his believers who are admittedly steadily growing but only because people are in general anti establishment

Even in a small workforce you have a them and us mentality from office to shop floor its an easy sell to people dumb enough to believe him

i have nothing against Icke and like i say i am interested because in a way id like it all to be true but it makes for a good bit of banter my mate gets tortured

A bit of a surprise to see a such reaction on this subject, first off nobody forces anyone into believing some individuals opinion. Being open minded is what it is all about, paying attention to things while being suspicious of "what ever it may be" is acceptable don't you think.
Respecting ones opinion and effort for telling their point of view is surely not a crime, I mean which one of you can answer all the question one might have or masses for that matter. Honestly if you ("get your head out of your arse") know all the answers then what are you doing on this forum or this thing called internet? One might ask...

I think Ike has gone a bit extreme on his perception over the years, never the less he cares about certain things that matter and that is why I think he deserves to be heard as long as you are mentally stable.

It's not quite as simple as that. Your post reminded me of a Terry Pratchett quote.

...and while I was researching to see if I'd remembered it correctly, I came across another one by Harold T Stone (whoever he is)

"I try to keep an open mind, but not so open that my brains fall out."

The point being: having an open mind is fine up to a point, but that doesn't mean that we should abandon our critical faculties.
