yes there is still ice on mars ,polar caps north and south .where there is water there is life ,there would never have been life on earth without water. of course you need oxygen also ,all scientists say there was never life on mars. the church in what ever form you believe only want one superior being and that is god. et may come and give them the shock of there life . imagine space is a beach full of sand well earth is one grain of sand on that beach thats how vast space is.at the end of the day how many scientist have been in space let alone mars.

there was everything on mars to make life (at one time ) that there was on earth .if scientists are correct about the big bang ,well then rocks with life on them (of some sort ) were blown to the 4 corners of the universe and beyond to the next universe (and im sure there are a billion planets like earth out there capable of sustaining life as we know it). with out a doubt nasa has definitive proof of life beyond this planet but wont say it for a few different reasons (there are astronauts who can back that up). one reason is they get billions each year for projects and they are afraid that if they say et is out there the funds will be stopped,another reason is the various religions around the world .for some reason the various churches wont accept life on other planets (why ? because god was tired on the sixth day and had a rest so he stopped with earth) because god created everything (and we are unique) a once off. why couldnt god have created life on other planets ? with all his powers. we havent begun to even scratch the surface of space ,again if all the planets in the whole of space are like all the grains of sand on the beach put together well earth is a single grain of sand. and we have visited the next grain of sand to us ( the moon) and sent probes to a few other planets ,so then we know all about space ?. i dont think so.
