A lot of birds are predatory, like the Robin, and the Magpie, but how do flocks of birds congregate, to fly in formation, to migrate? How do they decide to fly as one? In a V formation?

Its not man made thats doing this but you've got the right idea. The pressure waves from the recent solar activity is causing infrasound.

With this map alone I can say most if not all deaths happened within migration time. The US is very clear with it's eastern bored and midwest line. Many birds fly from Canada to Mexico flying over the midwest line. It's a perfect arrow pointing to both countries.
