android tv box help needed

Sorry if this is in wrong forum?
I recently bought an android tv box 618J8VJCYEL._SL1001_.jpg
some channels i can only hear background noise (wind, doors closing music etc but no voice.
i played around a bit and noticed if i enable pass through some of the channels return to normal but not all. can anyone shine any light? sound is through tv speakers. thx

I'd say 5.1 audio isn't hardware supported, contrary to what the adverts for that box say. By enabling pass through your allowing the tv to process the audio instead of the box. If you hook it up to a 5.1 surround sound system you may get more joy.
