just wondering if there is anything i can do?

when i plug power cable in. the box lights up but i just get black screen.

it dont even try and boot. even if it is booting i cant see.

tried holding reset but still the same

any ideas

tried other HDMI cables ports etc

have you tried unplugin the power,hold the reset button (push a matchstick in the a/v hole untill it clicks)
keep holding the reset button while pluggin in the power lead,keep holding reset button for about 30 seconds
then let go of the reset button,it should boot into android recovery mode

tried it pal ..problem is if its booting i cant see as nothing shows up... just get black screen thats it

try another hdmi lead and socket
also what colour of light does it show on box red or blue


edit just seen you tried another lead and ports

tried downstairs tv and upstairs m8 still same and i get blue light

sounds like the recovery flash is corrupted cos you still getting blue light
you might have to reflash it

can you please tell me what i need to reflash it buddy. no doubt i need to hook to pc. ?

you gonna need a sd card at least 4 gig and a windoze pc

there are various f/ware for these boxes you need to find summat
same as yours or you end up losing the use of remote unless you use a wireless keyboard
