just got the san francisco 2 phone so far seems to be a good phone for the money better than the first one but it does not play bbc i player any ideas how to get around this as i thought android 2.3 worked with bbc i player. thanks

did you install the version of flash player i posted as it works fine on san fran 2 and monte carlo...

Pretty certain you need a wifi connection for it to work as well.

I have the T-mobile vivacity which is the same ZTE device as the San Francisco 2, which is also supposed to be the ZTE Crescent.

I can't use iplayer ether, even after installing the arm flash version. (thanks mik25)

It just keeps saying that I need to install adobe flash player from the android market, when I try that it says it isnt compatible with my device.

Reading around the web and it seems that this is a problem with these ZTE phones.

Youtube works fine though.

Install MX videoplayer from market, first time you run it , it will download all the drivers you need,

Last thing , choose lowest video setting in BBC iplayer

i have done everything to the letter but bbc i player will still not work when i click on play nothing happens . thanks
