    Rooted Galaxy S2

    Hi guys anyone know if I factory reset my galaxy s2 will it remove the root? Giving it to my girlfriend and need to reset the accounts.

    Factory reset shouldn't remove root, but I'll give you fair warning that it won't remove any personal details either, pics and the like will still be on the phone so will contacts and everything else. Tbh a factory reset only really removes pin lock on the screen, I can't remember off hand if it resets accounts, it's been a long since I've been given one that the owner has forgotten the unlock pattern for.
