    i've only ever used copilot never had problems doesn't use net only gps

        have had a few...and am liking the google navigation at the moment....speak the place name and finds the address for you and displays a picture of destination when you reach it.....

          Sygic user here.. googles all well and good but as it stores its maps on a server, if you lose phone signal, and with it data signal.. you lose mapping
          Fave replies from various threads

                  I used copilot until ics update and now it doesn't work.
                  I now have navigon on there which seems ok and use google navigation occasionally.
                  All ok.
                  Also a free one called waze which isn't bad but not used it too much

                      Like it has been mentioned already IGO is the one, free app free maps, complete world covered and if you have them all loaded you can go around the world and it will flow one map to the next .

                          NavFree is excellent. Download whatever maps you need so NO roaming charges and so works even in places where there is no phone reception.
