Samsung Galaxy s2 or s3?

I'm due for an upgrade in December but cant decide which if the above to get. I'm guessing the s3 will be better but. I think the s2's looks are better.
Which one would you go for? I know that the s3 should probably get my vote but, I don't know, there's just something about how it looks that puts me off.

S3 is much better , better lcd harder glass, 4q proccessor , better camera , faster then s2 ... somethinks more??? :P

The S3 is easily the better choice.

But do your home work. There are two versions of the S3 available with the 4G LTE version coming soon.

The ideal version, if available, will be the 4G LTE with 32GB storage memory & 2GB system memory.

There is a 3G version with 32GB memory & 2GB system memory already on the market. Voda had a one month exclusive deal when the 32GB S3 was launched.

S2 is much easier to see outside in bright light if both are set to auto, battery life is hugely better on s3 as is the smoothness and general operation, but it does feel big in your hand and is a bit of a stretch if using one handed with swype keyboard. There is no definitive way to add your own words to dictionary on predictive text as you go and if you set up your own word list it will disappear on reboot. For me the s3 is the better machine but a bit uncomfortable to use. If I could get the insides and camera of the s3 into the s1 I'd be a very happy man.

take the galaxy nexus, it's cheaper then the s2 and better.
if you want touchwiz, you can also install it later (only search on forum.xda-developers.com)

i have the s2 and my niece has the s3. s3 is the better phone.

however canker is the best person to ask - he is a genius re mobiles and has helped me a few times.

has to be the SIII for me. Excellent handset smoother faster, loads of excellent wee features.

Owned the SII before the SIII and if you go with the SII it is still a fantastic handset.

Would go for the SII over an IPhone 5....... mind you I would go for a mobile drawn on to a brown paper bag over an IPhone :P

This monster is faster than the S3

It's only bad point is the shear size of it. But if you can live with that, this phone cannot be beaten on todays market.

If I could upgrade now, this would be my choice. Because I have big pockets.
