hi i ve just tried updating my x6 now its gone tits up when i try switch on it just vibrates for 10 secs then switches itself off any ideas

Wrong section, but...

How did you try to update it?

As long as the boot still works, it should be able to be recovered.
Worst case is to take it to a good repair shop.

Try hard resetting the phone first...

With the phone turned off, press CALL + END + CAMERA keys together, then while holding them down, Power ON the phone.

thanks for that but it wont turn on just vibrates about 10 secs then switches off

Take it to a shop that has something like the ATF Nitro box, Cyclone Reloaded box or Fenix Key dongle. They will be able to flash the phone, but the water damage has to be treated first.

If you can, find a place that offers a no fix no fee service. The water damage could of destroyed components making the phone useless.
