Galaxy ace
Hi is there a way to upgrade a samsung galaxy ace ,I mean to make it run better and free up some space ,as it switches it self off now and again ,If you know Please let me know ,in as simple terms as you can ,cheers in advance .

It's a bit tricky with this phone. The problem is with the slower CPU & low amount of system memory.
Your best option is to install a custom ROM. There are details around here somewhere on what's needed & a possible walkthrough. I'm by far only a novice when it comes to custom ROMs, better ask Happy highlander for more info.Canker

Mickeyboy there are no shortage of custom roms and walkthrough's for rooting and installation. The roms include ics and jellybean ports from s3 along with lots of others. Some of them look quite nice.Comment

You can stop it rebooting by installing the App "Loadmonitor". In setup you can make it clear memory.
