Samsung S4 or iphone 5?

Hi,

I am unsure which one to get? people are telling me the S4 but I am told this isn't out till mid April and I need a phone sooner (my HTC HD2 has packed up today).
What do you think? Should I wait for the S4 or just get the iphone 5, because I can have it sooner.
You comments would be helpful.

You are going to get your haters and lovers for either device. I was an apple fan for years and decided to make the change to the S3. What i would say is the build quality on the samsung doesn't compared to the iPhone.

Sony Experia Z, it's available to buy right now, awesome phone. Would have said HTC One if asked last week but read recently that it's very fragile and almost non repairable which really put me off. Samsung have got lazy with the S4,they've done more or less what Apple did with Iphone 4 to 4S, the phone looks almost identical to S3.

So it's not made of metal & a glass back that likes to shatter when dropped. But it is quicker & more adaptable than the Iphone.

If you're in that much of a rush for a phone, why don't you buy a cheap throw away for now.. Galaxy Note 3 is set for a september launch.

Iphones are the most common phone taken for repair into any shop... In my area they account for 80% of all repairs that come through the door. If the build quality was that good, we wouldn't see so many coming in for replacement screens, back covers, charge ports, power ribbons & speakers.

Blackberry's are the 2nd place phones that love to break.

(After looking at the Argos website tonight) I have been a bought one for ?9.99. Trouble was it had to be purchased with ?10.00 of Virgin phone credit.
Ironic that the credit was actually more expensive than the phone. However this will do for now till I get my new phone.

Have you considered the Samsung galaxy note 2, when it comes to watching any video content its second to none. It took me a while to get used to its size, and some trouser pockets will leave it hanging out for pick pockets. But overall its possibly the best phone on the market at present..

The stylus pen can be handy if you like to take notes for things, like any courses, work meetings e.t.c

I have had Galaxy S, S2, S3 and a Note and the Note was the best of the lot apart from the Size.

I have pre ordered my S4 purely because 3 have a great deal with Superfast internet which I can't get on my S3.

Would I buy an Apple ??? Would I hell and it's not because I am an Andoid fanboy.. I just don't want last years technology at inflated prices.

Just arranged a Note 2 for the girlfriend. It has always been my top pick of any phone on the market...and that's without playing with one.

Well, now I've played with her Note 2............ would you believe the bitch wouldn't swap phones with me.

That phone is amazing. I've never seen a handwriting recognision system that can actually understand my scrawl, but this did. Even with words that don't belong in a dictionary.
Being able to watch a full HD video while writing a text or browsing the internet.
The S-Pen is fun to use as well.

Now I have to wait till september for the Note 3, until then she's gonna be rubbing her phone in my face while laughing.

That Note 2 is the best hands down and Android is easier to use and sync between one another compared to apple. They make things simple for you to do and allow open source amongst its devs
