Control Talk is an online program that allows you to talk to your computer and have the computer respond to what you are saying. Control Talk is a program you purchase and download on your computer, and when you run the program, you are able to access the speech-controlled functions on several websites. In order to access the speech control functions of websites, you need to have Control Talk installed.
1. Access one of the sites that uses Control Talk. VideoSift and GN Solids Control are a couple of these sites, but there are also other sites, which you will find as you explore the Internet.
2. Click on the "Control Talk" icon on the site you wish to use. To use the online versions of the Control Talk program, the program must also be installed on your computer. When you click the "Control Talk" icon, the program will connect with your computer's version of Control Talk, which has already been accustomed to your voice and set up for your system.
3. Speak into your microphone to access the controls on the website that uses Control Talk. Keep in mind that there are different versions of the program, and that not every version has the same controls you are used to. Click on the Control Talk menu next to the program to see a list of the various features that the specific Control Talk program has, and how to use your voice to access those features.
