Nexus 4 missing pics folder

All my pics I've taken are missing the whole folder....screenshots bids etc OK my camera shots only.
I wasn't rooting or even have it connected to a PC, dunno how to root, to say I'm pissed is an understatement.

Tried astro and another file manager and searched for jpeg never found missing ones.....

Sounds like the folder has been deleted. If you can connect your phone to pc as mass storage any decent data recovery software will drag them back for you.
