You've not said which model of Galaxy it is. Some of the cheaper models have iffy memory & Nand chips, so what I'm about to suggest may finish the phone off.

Either visit & register on samfirmware.com or sammobile.com (it's the same people), or google search for your model number & either software download, firmware flashing or debranding.

    i.e. Samsung I9000 firmware flash

If you use samfirmware you will need to pick the best available. But they don't advise which firmware is debranded. So the google search might be easier to follow.

You will need: The correct firmware for your phone, the correct version of Odin and possibly the correct PIT or Cooper file. Only use the PIT file if the first attempt doesn't resolve the boot loop.

Instructions are available online. Just be aware the there are two types of flash file available. Single PDA file & three individual files (Code, Modem & CSC)

If possible, use the three file flash as this does a better wipe of the phone. Just so you know, when putting the files into Odin the PDA slot is for the Code file, Phone is for the Modem & CSC is the CSC. If you have to use the PIT file make sure you tick the repartition box... NEVER tick the repartition box unless you have the PIT file included.

If you have problems let me know. I have quite a few firmware files available with the correct version of Odin.
