moto g android phone

hi can please some one help just bought a moto g android phone how do i send my music and photos of my computer to the phone i connected my usb cable from phone to computer and thought you could just transfer like any other mp3 devise but it comes up as mpt media devise please help

If you are using windows, use windows media player, on a Mac, download Android file transfer. Page 50 in the manual.

Or you can just download & install the drivers for the phone from the manufactures website.
