i my cousin bought samsung galaxy s4-gt i9500 but no mobile data or network works, i searched Google but not found any help you can not activate mobile data on the phone some people says need to replace sim card reader, i reset to factory but not worked it has got android 4.2.2 jb on itanyone had the same problem m when you going to Settings---connections---more networks---mobile network--network mode, there is no more network in the phone

check the IMEI number: null / null or is 0049xxxxxxxxxxx

if is null / null: baseband dead
0049xxxxxxxxxx EFS is damp need to repair the IMEI

i have the same problem but my imei shows up i see all networks such as vodafone o2 tmobile and 3 but i dont see orange everytime i ring out it says call ended straight

Try another SIM. If you get the same problem then the chances are the phone has been blocked by the parent network.

You can always call the network from another phone & have them check the IMEI against the blacklist.
