Hi, Thanks but ive tried the factory reset and it just loops back, no matter what option i choose it just loops to boot screen. So think i'll have to flash it.

HTC phones flash from the boot menu. You will need to find the correct software & put it on a memory card. Enter the boot menu & select 'update from SD' (or something like that).

Just not sure where to find the software. The few HTC/Tablet software issues I have worked on resulted in Google searches & crossed fingers.

Sounds like somehow your phone got bricked or stuck in boot loop.

            for boot loop try this:

With your phone turned on (you can also turn off your device if you like by pressing on power button once; then select “turn off”) press and hold volume down and home buttons together.
Keep pressing the mentioned keys until the screen goes black.
At that point release only the power button but keep pressing the volume down key.
Fastboot mode will be then displayed, so you can also release the volume down button.
In fastboot mode use volume down / up buttons in order to scroll up or down towards the menu.
Highlight “recovery” and press power key once in order to select.
Your HTC One will boot into recovery mode.
            Select “wipe cache partition”.
From main menu of recovery also select “wipe dalvick cache”.
Return to recovery and consider in making a factory reset too.
In the end reboot into Android by selecting “reboot system now”.

let me know if this worked for you

if above steps did not solve the boot loop then there is little left to do besides unbricking the phone using ABD or RUU.
link with complete instructions to unbrick using RUU method see below

              http://www.andromods.com/unroot-lock...tc-one-m7.html

unbrick with RUU method is a bit less complex then using ABD so hope this how-to helps you out.

ps hope my english is good enough for all to decipher and understand

Youve flashed the wrong ROM hence the boot loop
Can you get it in Fastboot
Power the phone down then try restart while holding the power button and volume button at the same time
