Samsung Galaxy S3 volume issues

I wonder if anyone can help resolve some issues with this phone,
1.volume in the speaker is very low even on the highest setting is there a software update that can fix this issue or are S3 models known for this problem

and secondly Sometimes when answering an incoming call I cannot hear the caller but they can hear me.
To resolve the second issue I have to switch off and restart the phone otherwise the phone is unusable

Is there any easy fixes or a software update to make this phone normal

I think Samsung Galaxy are made to be like that they are not as loud on hand free as any other phones............I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and its the same the volume on hand free is low...........

Your second problem might be some fault on your hand set get some phone shop to have a look at it.......regarding software updates you can check your self if there is any software updates by going in to Settings,More, About Device, and click on Software Update..........If there are any it will update it self..............

if the phone on contract send it back and get it mended cos it be under warrenty
my s3 is loud on handsfree in its loud using it normal

There is a free app to alter volume settings
But the old favourite is make sure you aint coverd the ear piece with the screen saver
