NFC contactless mobile phone payment method, any good ?

Is contactless electronic NFC payments actually worth the bother ??
Does anyone actually use it ??

My mobile phone can do it if I wanted to but I have a strange feeling that its safer and easier just to use your bank/credit card as usual instead but I could be proved wrong, anyone got any comments that have tried or are using this method ?? If so please tell of the pro's and con's of it.

ok mate, I will bin the idea then, just thought I would ask and all that stuff cause ya never know, maybe lots of people think its great but quite obviously not,

Just like they can grab a cars info with certain equipment I'm sure there will be similar equipment for this or maybe I'm just paranoid.
