help pictures wont transport

hi guys, I have recently bought a android smart phone thing is when I connect the cable the the phone then to the comp to upload pictures it says, usb device not recognized, no matter what port I connect to says the same.

any help would be great...cheers..chris.

I assume other usb devices connected are ok. Is it the correct usb phone cable? Have you went into phone development options via settings and check usb debugging is on. hth

is the cable sucks? I have this problem before and the reason is the bad plastic cable. That's why I use metal piarmor cable currently and no more issues happen.
