hello my s5 just goes to a black screen but i cant hear my phone ringing and the led lights flash even the buttons at the bottom light up and feel it vibrate any ideas how to get it back on again

Have you tried a factory reset?

problem is on lcd connector or lcd broken

Defo on the lcd connector or screen is gone... only way really to test the theory is on the top right hand corner of the s5. Around near the power button push lightly down on the glass.... enough force but not to much. While holding it down power it on... see if u get any kind of picture??,

If so take the screen off carefully and reconnect.. s5 suffer from that as well as the s4s
