    So Edge boot error

    Hey guys... I've had an issue with my wife's S7 Edge.. She tried to install an update on Sunday. Unfortunately the install failed which lead to boot loop and recovery error.

    The device has not been rooted or tampered in anyway.

    I couldn't care less about the phone.. But I need the pics and videos of my new born son from the device.

    I called Samsung and they stated that the phone needs to be wiped.

    Any ideas on what to do?

          And this is why you should always use memory cards.

          If in a boot loop the only recovery is through a factory reset, or if you're lucky a cache wipe. But the factory reset will wipe all data, including the photos.

          To access recovery mode turn phone off (if possible).
          Press and hold 'Volume up', 'Home' & 'Power' buttons until phone shows blue text in top left corner of the screen.

              Use Kies3 from Samsung and do Firmware upgrade&initialisation from Tools
