    is my htc one f**ked

just rebooted my htc one(m8) about 6pm as it said i'd a system update pending, now all that is coming up is the htc logo and that's it! nearly 4 and half hours now. well f**k me!, it's started chiming and saying starting apps, i'd honestly thought it had bricked now it's saying "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, would i like to send an error report to HTC". NOW IT'S GONE BACK TO LOGO PAGE GGGGRH!!!!!! Anybody got any ideas

      looks like its soft bricked.....

i would flash with orginal firmware RUU the correct one for your phone..
make sure you have at least 60-80% battery

you can boot it into HBOOT OR FASTBOOT without getting to main menu.
there is a bit involved but you can take a look here :htc stock rom guide .txt

try to read through it you may need to try a few things out but all the info should be there...

      hope it helps
If i helped.... please dont forget to press the THANKS + REP buttons .

probably on updating mode, had that last night,i have been told they can update themselves and more likely did it and flattened battery.

i now switch off in settings wifi, bluetooth and mobile data.
