My Moto G4 got a virus when a fake text suggested a photo download from a trusted phone book contact. A couple of years later the bug is obviously still on the phone, the problems getting worse recently. Tried a few android anti-virus but they are either full of crap ware or really slow the phone. Any ideas? I hear a factory reset should only be used as a last resort-why? would it solve the problem?
