having purchased the new kindle fire hd for the daughter so she can play games on the go ,i cannot get it to play farmville from facebook ,i don't know if it is unsupported or i have to download a new browser or install flash ,any idea's

The Kindle does not support flash player with the browser included (Silk)
Download and install Dolphin browser then flash player, if you google installing flash on a kindle you will get loads of info and some videos showing the course of action to take. The sites you want working for your daughter will ONLY work using the Dolphin browser NOT Silk.
I followed instructions I found on the net and it works a treat.
