nexus 10 updateing?

hi guys im getting a nexus 10 , now its coming with 4.2 on it and theres a 4.4.2 update out there ,
will it auto update once i take it out of the box? or is there a lot of messing to be done ?

btw its way better than ipad2//4 imho , at less than ?240 now wow
